Winning Voice of Bart Simpson
and Nascar Development Driver Join Forces

Create Unique Marketing Channel for Sponsors, Advertisers

LOS ANGELES – Dec. 7, 2006 – SportsBlast,
a producer of innovative online entertainment founded
by Nancy “voice-of-Bart-Simpson” Cartwright,
and NASCAR development driver Kenton Gray announced
today a strategic marketing alliance set to launch immediately.
This cross-promotional alliance, the first of its kind,
brings together a campaign package featuring traditional
on-track promotions and mainstream marketing as well
as dynamic on-line placements in the racing show, The
Kellys. This exposure greatly exceeds the penetration
and measurability of other sponsorship programs.
Developed and produced in association with Turner Sports,
The Kellys is the first animated series to take fans
behind-the-scenes and into the heart of a stock car
racing family. The all-new 2007 season of The Kellys
will feature new content with a topical flair.
“Team Kelly is always looking for ways to dust
the competition. For the first time, sponsors can have
their brands appear both at the track and in our show,”
said Emmy-winning voice-actor, Nancy Cartwright. “The
alliance with FMG gives sponsors the best of both worlds.
They get to see their brand doing 190 in the real world
on Saturday or Sunday and then in our animated series,
racing on-line long after the checkered flag has dropped.
Who else can do that?!”, continued Cartwright.
Kenton Gray, NASCAR Development Driver and racer since
the age of 10, was chosen to pilot the FMG program on
the racetrack. “Racing was all I thought about
as kid and growing up watching Dale Earnhardt, Richard
Petty, Mario Andretti, AJ Foyt and many other great
drivers only fueled my desire and determination to one
day make a career doing the same thing,” said
Gray. “Since establishing Freedom Motorsports
Group Inc in 2001 we have made big strides towards that
goal and are excited to take this program to the track
with plans to run a full season in the ARCA (Automobile
Racing Club of America) Re/Max Series and selected NASCAR
Busch Series events in 2007 and a full NASCAR Busch
season in 2008”, continued Gray. Gray has competed
in various racing series such as Sprint Karts, Super
Bikes, Legends and NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series (Super
Late Model) and successfully completed ARCA RE/MAX Series’
Certification Test at Kentucky Speedway and intends
to participate in the ARCA RE/MAX Series Superspeedway
Certification Test at Daytona International Speedway
in Florida December 15-17, 2006.
“We are very fortunate to have this opportunity
with Nancy and her team,” said Jason Potter, founder
of Dynamic Motorsports Consulting in Houston, Texas
that represents both parties. “She has established
herself as one of the top entertainers in the industry
and with her dedication to the future success of The
Kellys, it was a natural fit to pull these resources
together. We now offer a stand-alone program that is
truly unique and contains all the key ingredients to
deliver true value for sponsors and increase the bottom
line”, continued Potter.
Team/sponsor negotiations are currently underway and
a formal announcement is expected in early January 2007.
