This Sunday at 10:00am on KTVU Channel 2!
This Sunday at 10:00am KTVU Channel 2 will broadcast
the premiere of Trackside at Infineon Raceway.
This half-hour show will focus on the world of racing
from NASCAR to the NHRA. The show will air either prior
or after FOX NASCAR coverage on seven dates and one
Formula One race in July. The show will be hosted by
KTVU Sports Director Mark Ibanez and include reports
from KTVU Sports Anchors Fred Inglis and Joe Fonzi.
Each week the show will include a number of segments,
which include:
- Driver Interviews (Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Marco
Andretti and Michael Waltrip to name a few)
- Super Fan – features on people who have a
special passion for racing.
- Track Smack – a look back at the prior week’s
racing results and what’s in store for the next
race.
- Tips from the Pits – weekly tips on driving,
car maintenance, etc.
- Rewind Segment – a look back at big moments
in racing history.
- Gearing Up – the latest technology and gadgets
available to the consumer.
The animated segment of the show, Brenda’s
Pole Predictions, is created and produced
by Sportsblast LLC. In it, Brenda joins her knowledge
of the track and her connection to the spiritual realm,
resulting in an often eerily accurate prediction of
the race to come.
